As an Senior Associate, you will play a vital role in supporting the team in various strategic initiatives aimed at driving organizational growth and efficiency. Your responsibilities will primarily revolve around providing comprehensive assistance to the team across multiple functions, as below:
What You Will Do
- Strategic Planning: Assist in the development and execution of strategic plans (annual and long-term) aimed at achieving organizational objectives.
- Strategic Analysis & Reporting: Conduct research and analysis to gather relevant data and insights (i.e. industry trends, competitor landscapes, and market dynamics) to inform strategic decision-making and management, and assist in the preparation of presentations, reports, and other communication materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- New Opportunities & Partnerships: Support the team in exploring and evaluating potential partnerships, acquisitions and investment opportunities to drive growth and innovation, including assisting in the development of business cases, financial modelling and contract negotiation & drafting.
- Maximizing Subsidiary Value: Assist in identifying and implementing strategies to unlock value within the organization, including turnaround efforts for underperforming subsidiaries.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate with various departments to ensure alignment and execution of strategic initiatives across the organization, including performance monitoring of KPIs and providing analysis & recommendations
- Continuous Improvement: Provide support for BPR (Business Process Reengineering) initiatives, conducting thorough analysis of existing business processes to identify areas for improvement and utilising project management skills to plan, document, execute, coordinate, and monitor initiatives.

Knowledge, Education, Work Experience:-
- Bachelors Degree with exposure to analytical courses (including but not limited to accounting & finance, data science, economics, marketing, law, engineering, politics etc.)
- Minimum 3-4 years of work experience with exposure to strategy is a plus (e.g. strategic planning, consulting, product management, financial planning & analysis, operations management etc)
- Strong passion for the entertainment industry is a plus, on-the job training will be provided to on-board.
Practical skills and/or abilities:-
- Microsoft Office skills (Power Point, Words, Excel etc)
- Proficient written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia
