Your new role
The
Senior Brand Manager, Oncology is a strategic regional marketing leadership role responsible for driving brand direction and performance across the oncology portfolio in
Malaysia and Singapore. This role will lead brand strategy development, execution excellence, and crossfunctional collaboration across medical, market access, sales, and external partners to maximize patient impact and business growth.
Strategy & Planning
- Own the brand strategy and annual operating plan (AOP) for solid/liquid tumour indications (e.g., breast, lung, GI, GU, gynaecologic), aligning to therapy area priorities and BUM guidance.
- Build evidencebased positioning and messaging grounded in clinical data, treatment guidelines, and local market insights.
- Lead forecasting, scenario planning, and lifecycle/indication expansion roadmaps; input to pricing, access, and tender strategies.
- Define omnichannel gotomarket: HCP segmentation, content strategy, media mix, and channel cadence (repled, digital, medical education).
CrossFunctional Leadership (IC role with high influence)
- Partner with Medical Affairs on scientific accuracy, publication plans, and speaker programs; align with scientific narrative and compliant engagement.
- Collaborate with Market Access & HEOR to support value dossiers, payer materials, and stakeholder mapping.
- Work with Sales & Trade on infield execution, targeting, incentive inputs, and performance analytics.
- Coordinate with Regulatory & PV to ensure compliant promotion and timely label updates.
- Engage External Partnerships (patient advocacy groups, professional societies, distributors) within policy.
Brand Execution & Performance
- Lead endtoend campaign development and localisation for MY/SG; brief agencies, manage creative, and drive omnichannel deployment.
- Plan and deliver scientific and promotional events (symposia, congresses, TtT, advisory boards) and ensure postevent impact tracking.
- Oversee content production (detailing aids, leavebehinds, MOA videos, eDetailers) with rigorous medical/regulatory review.
- Monitor KPIs (market share, patient starts, pullthrough, reach/frequency, digital engagement) and implement course corrections.
Insights, Analytics & Forecasting
- Lead market research (ATU, message recall, conjoint, qual/quant) and patient journey mapping for solid tumours.
- Maintain competitive intelligence: pipeline watch, launches, guideline updates, HTA decisions, and promotional claims.
- Translate data into actionable decisions; own monthly performance reviews and brand dashboards.
Regional Exposure (Good to Have)
- Contribute to regional brand forums, share best practices, and support crossmarket asset alignment.
- Input to regional content hubs; participate in launches/indication extensions across APAC
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 8-10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry, with experience in oncology.
- Strong background in brand management and strategic marketing, ideally with regional or multicountry exposure.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a matrixed, multinational environment.
- Experience managing agencies and external partners across markets.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
