Key Responsibilities
- Budget Planning & Strategic Alignment: Play a core role in developing and optimizing the company's budget management framework. Drive the preparation, review, and tracking of annual budgets and rolling forecasts, aligning financial management with strategic business goals.
- Variance Analysis & Performance Reporting: Continuously monitor budget performance, perform variance analysis, and recommend actionable cost-saving measures. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual budget reports to keep management informed.
- Financial Systems & Process Enhancement: Drive the optimization of financial processes and assist in implementing/upgrading ERP systems to maximize budgeting efficiency and operational accuracy.
- Expense Compliance & Accounting Entries: Oversee expense reimbursements in compliance with company policies. Verify expense legitimacy, ensure complete supporting documentation, and accurately post accounting entries in a timely manner.
- Expense Analysis & Process Optimization: Conduct regular audits on expense patterns, identify operational bottlenecks, and provide recommendations to refine expense control workflows.
- Cost Accounting & Month-End Closing: Enforce expense control standards, perform monthly cost and expense reconciliations, and collaborate with the General Ledger (GL) team to support monthly/year-end group closings and reporting.
- EHS Compliance: Adhere to company Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and participate in mandatory EHS programs and training.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields. Professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, CFA, or CTP) are a strong plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in budgeting and expense control; prior experience in large multinational corporations (MNCs) or listed companies is highly preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office (advanced Excel, Word, PPT) with strong data analysis capabilities. Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is preferred.
- Business fluency in Mandarin to effectively communicate and collaborate with regional stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal, coordination, and problem-solving skills; resilient under pressure with high ethical standards.
