To grow Takaful business in East Malaysia by collaborating with East Malaysia group of agency leaders and East Malaysia AG members through development program that enhances their agency management knowledge, selling and presentation skills, recruitment skills and interpersonal.
Close monitoring on agency leader's performance and to set plan for any performance gap initiatives depending on the agency demographic & capability.
To work closely with the other team members in East Malaysia in ideation, planning and execution of activities and initiatives that support company growth agenda, particularly in Takaful business.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To grow Takaful business in East Malaysia (EM) through collaboration program with EM leaders and the other EM AG members.
  • Deliver mentoring and coaching roles to develop the agency members in every business aspects - career advancement, selling skills, presentation skills, recruitment skills and interpersonal.
  • Close monitoring on agency leaders performance and to set plan for any performance gap initiatives depending on the agency demographic & capability.
  • Keep regular contacts with agency members via one to one or one to many private meetings, meeting over breakfast, lunch or dinner, phone calls, sms, email etc.
  • Attending agency meetings and deliver some sharing to further motivate agency members.
  • To respond, recommend and provide necessary justification on all agency management agendas such as Agency Registration, Appeal, Promotion, Termination etc.
  • Communication bridge between agency members and company and to ensure effective and efficient communication route.
  • Act as an intermediary between agents and leaders to resolve some agency issues and then offer advice on the mitigation plan that is amicable for both parties. To assist agency members in getting clear information on some company business matters and operational matters.

JOB SPECIFICATION:

  • Degree / Diploma in any discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years working experience in business development, marketing or sales.
  • Experience in agency development will be an added advantage.
  • Good interpersonal and communications skills.
  • A self starter with pleasant personality and service oriented work perspective.
  • Must be self-motivated with the ability to work under minimum supervision.
