JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for establishing, maintaining, and improving oven/chamber capability, including control systems, software revisions, setup parameters, functionality, and preventive maintenance to ensure stable operation and compliance with product specifications.
  • Drive continuous improvement and process optimization through automation, Lean Manufacturing, process simplification, cycle time reduction, and elimination of non-value-added activities to improve chamber reliability and process yield.
  • Manage chamber spare parts and inventory efficiently, including monitoring stock levels, coordinating with suppliers for servicing and technical support, and ensuring spare parts availability to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions for chamber failures, test interruptions, and thermal-related product issues.
  • Ensure backup and recovery plans are available for chamber software and controller configurations.
  • Support internal, customer, and ISO audit activities and ensure compliance with company rules, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain technical reports, SOPs, work instructions, troubleshooting guidelines, maintenance records, calibration reports, and safety procedures related to chamber operation and maintenance.
  • Develop good technical knowledge of chamber systems, controls, maintenance, precautions, and setup parameters, and provide technical training and support to manufacturing teams for preventive maintenance of boards, racks, chambers, and fixtures.
  • Support stress testing processes using various temperature profiles for new product qualifications and customer requirements.
  • Evaluate and qualify equipment, hardware, and chamber setups before release to production, including QA validation when required.
  • Ensure compliance with Safety, ESD, Cleanroom, and Housekeeping requirements at all times.
  • Monitor and analyze chamber performance data, alarms, and trends to improve equipment reliability and preventive maintenance activities.
  • Support troubleshooting activities related to thermal stress testing, burn-in process, and environmental testing.
  • Support engineering evaluations, DOE (Design of Experiment), and reliability testing for product and process development.
  • Perform risk assessment activities related to chamber operation, process safety, and equipment reliability.
  • Do whatever is necessary to meet or exceed customer expectations in compliance with the Quality Policy.
  • Authorized to stop any oven/chamber operation that does not meet production, safety, or quality requirements.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor of Science/Engineering in Electrical/Electronics, Computer Engineering/Computer Science
  • At least 1 yr of Equipment Maintenance/Testing experience & testing methodologies. Candidates without appropriate experience may be accepted by the hiring manager subject to job nature, availability of buddy, duration of learning, etc.
  • With good computer literacy, good communication skill and reporting of information/data. Strong interest in computer hardware engineering.
  • Experience configuring and troubleshooting a wide range of desktop software and components.
  • Experience in equipment's Total Control Methodology.
