About The Role

The Senior Executive, Business Development works to support the portfolio management function by executing product selection processes, conducting market analysis, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining product performance data to ensure alignment with the organization's global strategy.

Key Responsibilities: -

• Assist in the execution of product selection activities across various regions (USA, EU, ASEAN, Emerging Markets) and therapeutic areas.
• Conduct market research and competitive landscape analysis to support portfolio decisions.
• Collaborate with Medical, Marketing, Technical, and IP teams to help identify portfolio gaps and new opportunities.
• Support the preparation of product techno-commercial feasibility reports as per organizational SOPs.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely approvals and signoffs for selected products.
• Track and report on product performance metrics; provide insights for management review and portfolio optimization.
• Support the planning and coordination of product launches in alignment with Marketing and Sales teams.
• Maintain documentation related to product selection processes and contribute to the development of internal SOPs and training materials.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal standards in all aspects of portfolio activities.
• Assist in preparing presentations and updates for internal stakeholders and leadership teams on portfolio strategy and product decisions
• Support risk assessments related to portfolio selection and lifecycle management
• Participate in initiatives aimed at enhancing portfolio management processes, tools, and methodologies
• Assist in maintaining up-to-date records and data management for portfolio tracking and analysis.

About You

• Must possess a Degree in Pharmacy, Pharmacology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, Business Studies, or equivalent.
• More than 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical product management, market analysis, or a related function.
• Understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory and compliance environments is an added advantage.
• Strong intrapreneurial skills and mindset from start up to established organization
• Versatile and resilient, ability to stay positive in high-pressure and ambiguous environments and work towards delivering results
• Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Good communication and coordination skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
