Job Description

Job Description:

  • To assist in planning, organising, and directing overall corporate events, including open houses, dinner, luncheon, high profile visits and etc for the Group.
  • To assist in planning and implementing proactive and impactful corporate sustainability activities including but not limited to donations & sponsorships, EES initiatives and etc.
  • To collaborate with BUs, service providers and suppliers in the production of corporate-related documents and/or collaterals such as Annual Reports, brochures, and other materials.
  • To build and maintain good relationships with internal and external key stakeholders.
  • To assist HOD with drafting of speeches, publications, presentations, letters, media (releases, responses, interviews), and website.
  • To assist in crisis management through effective communication.
  • To assist in developing and maintaining corporate image and branding for the Group.
  • Undertake other ad-hoc responsibilities directed by the top management from time to time.
Job Requirement
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree or Professional Degree in these fields of Mass Communication/Public Relation/Journalism or other relevant disciplines.
  • Required Language(s) : Bahasa Malaysia, English, Chinese (advantage).
  • At least 4 to 6 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • High command of knowledge and sensitivity in Malaysia's media and political environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communications, lobbying and media relations skills are required.
  • Strong capability in strategic planning, strategic and analytical thinking, creative problem solving, people management and possess a high level of self-confidence.
  • A self-motivated and energetic person who can work under pressure.
  • Ability to develop creative and engaging communications content and activities
