Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and develop analysis in support of product planning and strategy which encompassed market research, customer satisfaction, segment opportunities, pricing, features/content, competitive analysis, future technologies, economics, production capacity, and related fundamentals of short-term and/or long-term planning
  • Prepare product concept and development documents (from introduction to official model launch) pertaining to overall product strategy, features/content, segment analysis, competitive product analysis and pricing analysis
  • Provide product management support for assigned product areas, including definition and implementation of new features, product direction, and customer satisfaction
  • Provide product recommendations based on needs analysis, customer/market trends, and forecasts from market research
  • Produce documentation and reports on the specifications of assigned models and liaise with related government agencies such as JPJ, DOE, SIRIM and PUSPAKOM on all matters related to the assigned vehicles
  • Review internal and external communication material for product accuracy and compliance with product claims
Job Requirements
  • Candidate must possess a minimum Bachelor of Degree in Marketing, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Candidates from automotive industry would be an added advantage
  • Experience in market analysis & research would be an added advantage
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Candidate must be willing to work in Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah, Kuala Lumpur
