Senior Finance Analyst (Korean Speaker)

Responsibilities

1. Manage complex end to end accounting:
2. General ledger account analysis
3. Balance Sheet account reconciliations
4. Responsible for US GAAP accounting, reporting and analyses of data and other ad hoc requests for information
5. Coordination of month-end closings
6. Ensure compliance with SOX controls
7. Work with the team and with site controllers to ensure accurate and controlled financial statements
8. Support and train one junior colleague
9. Support internal and external audits
10. Ensure effective internal controls for the assigned accounting areas
11. Be a key team member driving continuous improvement
12. Lead and participate in assigned projects
13. Reporting to site leadership to ensure a healthy service level

Qualifications:

3+ years relevant experience is required

1. Bachelor's Degree in Economics required (preferably in accounting)
2. US GAAP or IFRS knowledge
3. Strong general accounting knowledge and understanding of financial processes
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
5. Confident user of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
6. Proficient in data entry and management
7. Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with stakeholders
8. Strong bias for action and ability to proactively recognize and resolve issues through root cause analysis
9. Ability to cope with and drive process changes
10. Continuous improvement mindset
11. Ability to stay professional in challenging situations
12. Ability to provide guidance in prioritization to team members
13. Strong sense of responsibility
14. Korean language proficiency at TOPIK Level 5 or 6 is preferred.
