Senior Finance Executive

As our Senior Finance Executive, you will be responsible for:

1) Financial Reporting and Operations Management.

• Oversee the company's financial reporting structure both internally and externally, ensuring timely and accurate monthly and yearly closings.
• Manage daily finance operations, including treasury, banking, and working capital.

2) Budgeting, Forecasting, and Asset Management.

• Lead budgeting and financial forecasting processes.
• Manage the company's assets, monitor foreign currency exchanges, and provide accurate financial forecasts to guide decision-making.

3) Compliance and Internal Controls.

• Liaise with auditors, corporate secretaries, and tax agents to ensure effective statutory and regulatory reporting.
• Enhance internal controls and continuously improve financial policies and processes.

4) Team Leadership and Special Projects.

• Manage, develop, and lead the finance team.
• Undertake ad-hoc assignments, special projects, and business presentations as needed to support organisational goals.

Requirements:

1. Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree/Post-Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or Professional qualifications (ACCA, CIMA and CPA / CFA).
2. Minimum 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position with experience in handling a full set of management accounts.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Words, PowerPoint, Outlook).
4. Proficiency in accounting software such as XERO.
5. Proficient in verbal and written use of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
6. Highly detailed oriented individual with good time management.
