About Our Client

Job Responsibilities

  • Handle full spectrum of accounting functions, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Treasury and general accounting activities.
  • Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts, financial reports and analysis.
  • Prepare tax computations and ensure compliance with applicable tax laws, Public Rulings, guidelines and statutory requirements.
  • Prepare and monitor cash flow projections, working closely with bankers on financing facilities and banking matters.
  • Manage bank reconciliations and cash book updates, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and reconciled.
  • Review and process supplier invoices, staff claims and payment transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Prepare payments to suppliers, statutory authorities, employees and other relevant parties.
  • Maintain proper and up-to-date accounting records, supporting documents and filing systems.
  • Liaise with external auditors and assist in coordinating the year-end audit process, ensuring all required schedules and supporting documents are prepared.
  • Assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements in accordance with applicable Financial Reporting Standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with bankers, auditors, tax agents and other external parties on accounting, financing and statutory matters.
  • Provide support on financial and accounting matters related to property development projects, where required.
  • Perform other ad hoc finance and accounting duties as assigned by the management.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
  • Preferably 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Candidates with property development, construction or real estate industry exposure will have an added advantage.
  • Good analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized and able to work independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
