Your new role
- Lead treasury reporting activities across monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant financial and regulatory reporting.
- Provide analysis and insights on liquidity, funding, capital adequacy, balance sheet performance, and treasury-related metrics for management and regulatory reporting.
- Partner closely with Treasury, ALM, Global Markets, Product Control, Risk, and overseas stakeholders to ensure data integrity and consistency across reporting processes.
- Oversee treasury reporting governance, controls, and compliance with accounting standards, BNM requirements, and internal policies.
- Drive enhancements in treasury systems, data analytics, reporting automation, and process optimisation initiatives.
- Act as a key liaison with regulators, auditors, and senior management on treasury reporting matters and regulatory developments.
- Support the implementation of new regulatory requirements, treasury frameworks, and strategic finance initiatives across the bank.
What you'll need to succeed
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline,( ACCA, ICAEW, CPA, CFA, FRM)
- Proven experience within treasury reporting, financial reporting, product control, regulatory reporting, ALM, or treasury finance functions in a banking environment.
- Strong understanding of treasury products, liquidity management, funding, capital management, and balance sheet reporting.
- Familiarity with BNM regulatory requirements, financial reporting frameworks, and banking governance standards.
- Experience leading teams and managing complex stakeholder relationships across Treasury, Risk, Finance, Global Markets, and senior management.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex financial and treasury data into actionable business insights.
- Exposure to treasury systems, data analytics tools, automation initiatives, and reporting transformation projects would be highly advantageous.
