At DFI Retail Group, we're seeking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team and support one of Malaysia's leading health & beauty retailers. This role plays a key part in financial planning, reporting, and business performance, partnering closely with stakeholders to deliver meaningful financial insights that drive business decisions.
About The Role
- Prepare annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plans
- Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning, investment decisions, and profitability analysis
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand financial performance and provide commercial insights
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports
- Perform variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior year, identifying key drivers and recommending corrective actions
- Monitor financial and operational KPIs to support business performance
- Improve financial reporting processes, dashboards, and reporting efficiency
- Support internal and external audits while ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards and internal controls
- Conduct ad hoc financial analysis, scenario modelling, and business case evaluations
- Participate in finance transformation and process improvement initiatives
About You
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent) is an advantage
- Experience in financial planning & analysis (FP&A), budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Lookup functions, Power Query)
- Experience with SAP ERP is preferred
- Big Four audit or advisory experience is an added advantage
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment and manage multiple priorities
