The Senior HyFlex Learning Designer is responsible for partnering with faculties to transform teaching, learning and assessment through evidence-based learning design, HyFlex, Agentic AI, personalised learning and emerging educational technologies. The role works closely with academics to redesign modules, integrate active learning pedagogies, develop AI-enabled learning experiences, and enhance student engagement across the complete One Learning Arc (before, during and after class). He/she also contributes to institutional innovation, faculty capability development and continuous improvement through learning analytics, educational research and scalable learning design frameworks.
KEY RESULT AREAS / RESPONSIBILITIES
. Partner with schools and faculties to redesign modules using HyFlex principles, active learning pedagogies, and AI-enhanced learning experiences that improve student engagement and learning outcomes.
. Collaborate closely with discipline experts to design learner-centered experiences, translating programme learning outcomes into effective learning activities, formative assessments, and authentic learning journeys.
. Design and develop faculty-specific HyFlex learning frameworks, templates, and learning pathways.
. Design learning activities and assessments that appropriately integrate Agentic AI to support preparation, practice, feedback, reflection, and personalised learning.
. Develop and implement AI-supported formative assessment strategies, including adaptive learning activities, reflective learning, case variations, oral defense preparation, and personalised feedback approaches.
. Advise and support academics in the responsible, ethical, and effective use of AI technologies in teaching, learning, and assessment, in accordance with institutional policies and best practices.
. Design learning experiences that effectively incorporate active learning pedagogies such as Project-Based Learning, Team-Based Learning (TBL), Problem-Based Learning (PBL), Case-Based Learning, Clinical Simulation, Lab-Based Learning, Studio-Based Learning, and other discipline-specific approaches.
. Review and continuously enhance existing modules and learning experiences using student feedback, learning analytics, educational research, and evidence-informed practice to improve learning effectiveness and student success.
. Collaborate with Taylor's Digital to leverage learning technologies, AI platforms, and digital learning tools, and contribute to interpreting learning analytics and recommending improvements to learning design.
. Identify opportunities to improve student engagement, participation, and personalised learning by analysing learning data and recommending appropriate pedagogical interventions.
. Support the Head of e-Learning Academy in developing reusable learning design resources, HyFlex templates, AI implementation guides, and best practice exemplars to support consistent adoption across faculties.
. Conduct academic consultations, workshops, and capability-building programmes to strengthen staff competency in HyFlex learning, active learning pedagogies, AI-enhanced teaching, and assessment transformation.
. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Head of e-Learning Academy or higher management.

JOB SPECIFICATION
Minimum Qualification
. The position is open to candidates with learning design experience, and experience in education (tutoring, teaching, etc.) is a plus.
. Possess a recognized master's degree (degree holder might be considered based on their background) in any relevant field, for example: Education, English/TESL, Instructional Design and Technology, Multimedia Design and Development, discipline based (Computer Science, Software Engineering etc).
