IT Audit Manager role within FSI

Your new company

Your new company is a leading multinational organisation within the financial services industry, with a strong regional presence and a reputation for innovation and robust governance frameworks. They are currently expanding their Group Internal Audit function and are seeking an experienced IT Audit professional to join their regional team.

Your new role

As a Senior Manager in Group Internal Audit, you will play a critical role in delivering end-to-end IT audit engagements across multiple markets. This includes planning, executing, and reporting on audits covering IT risk, governance, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Leading and executing IT audits across regional business units in line with established audit methodologies
  • Providing independent assurance on IT risk management, controls, and governance processes
  • Engaging with senior stakeholders across technology and business functions
  • Developing high-quality audit reports with actionable insights and recommendations
  • Contributing to the annual audit plan and continuous improvement of audit methodologies
  • Acting as a subject-matter expert in IT audit and supporting regional audit teams
  • Overseeing external consultants and supporting initiatives such as ISO 27001 audits and certifications
  • What you'll need to succeed

    • Minimum 6 years of IT audit experience, ideally within financial services or regulated environments
    • Professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, or equivalent
    • Strong knowledge of IT risk, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, and emerging areas such as AI
    • Experience in ISO 27001 or information security frameworks is a strong advantage.
    • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
    • Proven ability to work independently across multiple projects and geographies
    • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
    • Ability to lead and deliver IT Audit engagements across the regional with minimal supervision
