We are seeking passionate and dedicated academicians to join our academic team as Senior Lecturer / Lecturer in Business Administration. The successful candidate will contribute to high-quality teaching and learning, academic development, research activities, and student engagement within the institution.
Fresh graduates with strong academic qualifications and a passion for teaching are encouraged to apply for the Lecturer position.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver lectures, tutorials and other teaching and learning activities in Business Administration and related areas.
- Develop and update teaching materials, lesson plans, assessments and course content in accordance with the approved curriculum.
- Assess students coursework, assignments, examinations and other academic activities, and provide constructive feedback.
- Provide academic guidance, consultation and support to students throughout their studies.
- Participate in curriculum development, programme review and continuous improvement of academic programmes.
- Contribute to research, publications, conferences and other scholarly activities.
- Participate in academic quality assurance, accreditation and relevant documentation processes.
- Supervise student projects, research projects and/or dissertations, where applicable.
- Participate in departmental, faculty and institutional activities, including meetings, committees, events and student-related activities.
- Establish and maintain engagement with industry and professional bodies to enhance the relevance of teaching and learning.
- Perform other academic and administrative duties as assigned by the Head of Department/Dean.
Requirements:
Senior Lecturer
- Possess a PhD or Doctoral Degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field from a recognised institution.
- Relevant teaching and research experience at tertiary level.
- Demonstrated track record in research, publications and scholarly activities.
- Experience in supervising undergraduate and/or postgraduate research projects is an advantage.
- Experience in curriculum development, programme accreditation, academic quality assurance or academic administration is an added advantage.
- Industry or professional experience in a relevant business field will be an added advantage.
- Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
Lecturer
- Possess at least a Master's Degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field from a recognised institution.
- Candidates with teaching, research or relevant industry experience will have an added advantage.
- Fresh graduates with strong academic records and a keen interest in pursuing an academic career are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates who are currently pursuing or intend to pursue a PhD will have an added advantage.
- Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Passionate about teaching, student development and continuous learning.
