Here, you will formulate creative solutions for our customers, juggle numerous items in making them simple, own and drive initiatives, and collaborate with a super fun and hard-working group of people who are utterly passionate about their mission.
The Core Job:
- Assist in actuarial valuation and support the Appointed Actuary role (monthly, quarterly, and annual reserving, stress testing, and preparation of Financial Condition Report)
- Assist in the development of IFRS 17 (work with the finance team on the implementation of IFRS 17, support the data preparation and data extraction from the source system)
- Assist in portfolio monitoring and provide supporting data analytics (analyze the Company's claims experience)
- Provide guidance to junior staff
Education/Experience:
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent. A Master's Degree or Doctorate (Ph.D.) is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in general insurance actuarial practice (in particular experience in IFRS 17)
