About the Client

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Marketing Leadership: Drive and oversee the full-spectrum marketing strategy for the Commercial Division, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and revenue targets.
- Merchant & Partner Initiatives: Collaborate with Category Leads to craft and deliver compelling marketing and growth strategies for partners.
- Consumer Activation: Lead go-to-market initiatives for commercial offerings, boosting awareness, adoption, and engagement within key customer segments.
- Integrated Marketing Execution: Manage digital, offline, and partner-driven campaigns to ensure impactful delivery and strong ROI.
- Analytics & Optimization: Utilize data and insights to monitor campaign performance, refine strategies, and guide future marketing efforts.
- Team Development: Build and lead a high-performing marketing team, fostering strong collaboration across Commercial, Product, and Growth functions.
- Cross-Functional Synergy: Work closely with merchant services, category managers, and platform teams to create unified, impactful marketing narratives.
- Brand Development: Enhance brand visibility across major sectors (retail, eCommerce, mobility, SMEs), supporting the beyond payments, beyond Malaysia positioning.
Job Requirements:
- Over 8 years of experience in marketing, including at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
- Demonstrated success in leading marketing initiatives, preferably in payments, fintech, or eCommerce sectors.
- Strong strategic thinker with a proven ability to align marketing strategies with business goals.
- Commercially savvy, with deep understanding of merchant ecosystems, user behavior, and digital payment growth drivers.
- Skilled in data-driven marketing, with the ability to assess campaign performance, optimize strategies, and connect results to business impact.
- Experienced in managing stakeholders across Commercial, Product, Growth teams, and external partners.
- Delivers executional excellence in large-scale marketing campaigns, maintaining high standards, consistency, and ROI.
- Effective team leader with a track record in building, coaching, and scaling high-performing marketing teams.
