Key Accountabilities:
- Lead and oversee assigned new site, expansion, renovation and other projects from initiation to completion, ensuring delivery in accordance with approved scope, technical requirements, safety, cost, quality and schedule.
- Establish and monitor project programs, budgets, milestones and key deliverables, and take appropriate action to address delays, cost overruns and other project deviations.
- Lead or support tender and procurement activities and oversee appointed consultants, contractors and vendors to ensure delivery in accordance with agreed scope, cost, quality and schedule.
- Ensure projects comply with IHH standards, approved specifications, project governance requirements, quality and safety standards, and relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Identify, assess and manage project risks, issues, changes and dependencies, and escalate significant matters to Head of Project Management Office where required.
- Maintain effective communication and coordination with Malaysia Corporate Office (MCO) stakeholders, hospital users, project teams, consultants, contractors, vendors and other relevant stakeholders to facilitate timely decisions and project delivery.
- Oversee testing, commissioning, statutory approvals, defects rectification, documentation and handover to ensure projects are completed and ready for operational use.
- Provide timely project and portfolio updates, including progress, cost, schedule, risks and key issues, and support the implementation and continuous improvement of PMO standards, procedures, reporting and project governance.
- Provide direction and guidance to project managers and project teams, promote effective project management practices and support the development of team capabilities.
- Carry out any other duties or responsibilities related to Project Management as assigned or directed by Management from time to time.
Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Civil, Architectural or equivalent relevant discipline
- Minimum 8 - 10 years relevant working experience, with proven experience managing complex projects
- Possess strong leadership and people management skills
