Role and Responsibilities :
- Responsible in monitoring the daily and monthly schedule as per production activities.
- To prepare daily and monthly moulding schedule as per customer order and forecast.
- To project daily and maximum the machine capacity and manpower allocated.
- Responsible to monitor production on the material consumption (overused). Encounter problem need to escalate.
- Responsible to follow up with purchaser on the supplier delivery schedule to prevent line stoppages.
- Responsible to monitor machine performance and downtime trend. Abnormal work with internal team to come out solution plan.
- Timely monitor customer order progress, if foresee failure, work closely with internal team on alternative plan.
- To monitor WIP and FG inventory (Don't ever build stock cause aging stock).
- To assist the department head in monitoring the Suppliers & SubCon activities.
- To assist the dept head to ensure precise production planning, stock control & optimum utilization production capacity.
- To co-ordinate with customer service on PO confirmation and forecast demand. Timely update the progress status.
- To follow up with sub-con on their production schedule, daily output & shipment status
- To control outgoing and incoming parts from sub-con (SR assignment). To record data to track on the rejection percentage and delivery status
- Base on production schedule raise Job Order to production.
- To ensure that all WIP and purchased items are available before issue Job Order.
- To check and compare the purchase price VS MOQ before issue PR
- On time submit customer inventory report
- Weekly perform cutoff inventory VS order to high volume customer product.
- To follow up and monitor production daily output. If encounter problem escalate to superior.
- To ensure all the incoming PQIS is posting and pass to Account dept with DO.
- To ensure meeting schedule & fulfill 100% of customer order.
- To monitor and maintain minimum inventory and call in material as when required.
- To ensure data & documentation accuracy.
- To promptly and accurate data the assignment that assigned by superior daily
Requirements :
- Min Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering and equivalent
- Strong knowledge in production scheduling and planning, materials planning and control
- Advanced in MS Office application skills (Excel, Power Point & Outlook)
- At least 5 years working experience in planning
