This is a great opportunity for a high performing and motivated Medical Sales professional with strong sales experience to maintain & grow the market leading products in Malaysia.

Purpose of the Position:

To deliver company product value to targeted HCPs and drive company sales growth. To support Senior Business Manager for sales and marketing activities.

What you will do includes:

To handle several diverse product portfolios within the organization.

Develops business plan for assigned territory that is consistent with Astellas sales plans, strategies and objectives.

To conduct CME activities in assigned territories and participate in exhibition / booth / conference as planned by marketing team.

Achieve quarterly sales goals within territory while adhering to all ethical sales practices and required compliance and regulations.

Gathers and utilizes information from HCOs and others to develop and implement specific strategies for territory prescribers.

To establish and develop good relationship with relevant key opinion leaders in relevant therapeutic areas.

Develops pre-call planning strategy for key targets.

Develops positive and interactive relationships with peers, customers and functional cross collaboration.

Identifies sales improvements and find opportunities through understanding current industry trends, market activities and competitors strategy/activities.

Responsible for ensuring high levels of call and field productivity.

Actively pursue continuous learning and professional development on efficient sales, communication & product knowledge training.

Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.

Contributes to team by accomplishing related results as needed.

Ensure fully compliance to company compliance standard.

Leadership Responsibility:

Team Lead for special projects.

Supports Senior Business Manager best practice sharing with junior Medical Executive.

What you will need:

Bachelor Degree preferably with major in Life Science.

At least 4-5 years relevant experiences in sales/marketing function in pharmaceutical industry.

Preferably with at least 3 years of experience in a similar therapeutic area (on Transplant / Immunology / Metabolic Disease) of a pharmaceutical company in Malaysia.

Experience selling in both Government and Private Hospital is an added advantage.

Pleasant personality and positive working attitude.

Possess own transport with a valid driving license.

Willing to travel within assigned territory.
