Senior Network Engineer

Job Description:

• Experience in design and deployment of network solutions

• Level 3 operations analyst or project basis.

• Strong network technical background, particularly in BGP protocol, routing, switching, and a broad understanding of WAN technologies.

• Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure to meet business requirements.

• Deploy network solutions for various projects, ensuring optimal performance and security.

• Conduct network assessments and provide recommendations for improvements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network solutions with other IT systems.

• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

• Maintain up-to-date documentation of network configurations and processes.

Qualifications:

• University degree with emphasis in Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Network or a closely related field with course work in technology-related subjects

• 2-5 years proven experience in network design and deployment.

• Strong network knowledge (Cisco/Juniper) - LAN and WAN network equipment and environments, analysis, routing, switching, wireless

• Strong knowledge of BGP protocol and routing

• Strong knowledge in network transport VSAT, MAN, MPLS/IPVPN technology and network management QoS features, DNS, DHCP, SNMP

• Experience with network security practices and tools.

• Knowledge of SD-WAN is a plus.

• Cisco certification (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) is a bonus.

• Good written and oral communication skills; ability to discuss technical issues with all levels of personnel globally

• Strong, self-initiative and self-motivated
