Senior Network Engineer

Job Description:

Experience in design and deployment of network solutions

Level 3 operations analyst or project basis.

Strong network technical background, particularly in BGP protocol, routing, switching, and a broad understanding of WAN technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure to meet business requirements.

Deploy network solutions for various projects, ensuring optimal performance and security.

Conduct network assessments and provide recommendations for improvements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network solutions with other IT systems.

Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

Maintain up-to-date documentation of network configurations and processes.

Qualifications:

University degree with emphasis in Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Network or a closely related field with course work in technology-related subjects

2-5 years proven experience in network design and deployment.

Strong network knowledge (Cisco/Juniper) - LAN and WAN network equipment and environments, analysis, routing, switching, wireless

Strong knowledge of BGP protocol and routing

Strong knowledge in network transport VSAT, MAN, MPLS/IPVPN technology and network management QoS features, DNS, DHCP, SNMP

Experience with network security practices and tools.

Knowledge of SD-WAN is a plus.

Cisco certification (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) is a bonus.

Good written and oral communication skills; ability to discuss technical issues with all levels of personnel globally
