HIRING: SENIOR ORACLE DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR (24x7 PRODUCTION)

Are you a battle-tested Senior Oracle DBA who thrives in high-availability, mission-critical production environments We are seeking a heavy-hitting Senior Database Administrator to take full technical ownership of our enterprise-scale database ecosystem!

In this role, you will be the ultimate guardian of database uptime, managing high-velocity production environments, driving deep architectural performance tuning, orchestrating complex clustering/replication frameworks, and leading seamless version upgrades and disaster recovery (DR) drills.

Industry Plus: Prior experience in the Banking or Financial Services sector is highly preferred. Shift Structure: Candidates must be fully comfortable with 24x7 operational support rotations, SLA compliance, and formal ITIL framework management.

Role Overview:

• Position: Senior Oracle Database Administrator
• Experience Baseline: 5+ Years of dedicated, hands-on Oracle DBA track record
• Core Toolkit: Oracle 12c–19c+, RAC, Data Guard, GoldenGate, RMAN, OEM
• Operational Model: 24x7 Enterprise Production Support & High Availability Management
• Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia / Tech Delivery Hub

️ Your Core Database Mission:

• Full-Lifecycle Core Administration: Own end-to-end database installation, configuration, standard maintenance, system-wide patching (PSU/CPU), version upgrades, and multi-platform migrations.
• Deep Performance Optimization: Diagnose and resolve structural database bottlenecks—mastering SQL performance tuning, memory structures, statistics gathering, and query execution plans.
• High Availability & Clustering: Maintain, configure, and troubleshoot Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters) or similar cluster layers (HACMP, Veritas, Windows Cluster) to guarantee zero single-points-of-failure.
• Bulletproof Backup & Replication: Manage comprehensive data safety strategies using RMAN backup/recovery, alongside active replication architectures via Oracle Data Guard and GoldenGate.
• Disaster Recovery (DR) Execution: Lead complex DR planning, execute real-time failovers, and spearhead scheduled DR drills to protect business continuity.
• Capacity Tracking & Automation: Forecast long-term database storage growth, manage tablespaces, and write infrastructure automation handles to monitor system telemetry and capacity thresholds.
• Incident Governance: Take point on major production incidents, driving rapid troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA) formulation, and rigorous change management compliance.

What Strengthens Your Profile (Preferred Plusses):

• Valid Oracle Professional Certifications (OCP / OCA).
• Hands-on infrastructure automation scripting via Shell, Python, or Ansible.
• Exposure to Mainframe Database environments or vendor management frameworks.
