Job Summary

The Master Scheduler is acting as the central coordinator of SIOP & SIOE (Sales, Inventory, Operation Plan/Execution). plays a critical role in Sales, supply chain management and production, ensure that customer demands are met on time, maintain reasonable inventory levels, manufacturing operations run efficiently, and resources are optimized. This position requires a combination of strategic planning, analytical expertise, and cross-functional collaboration to maintain seamless production flow and support organizational objectives

Main Responsibilities

  1. Develop and rolling updating the 3+9 monthly & 12 weekly production plan
  2. Optimize plant supply positions to ensure supply chain efficiency for about 12 weeks horizon
  3. Run what if scenarios to maximize total margin; analyse scenarios with levers such as demand, capacity, inventory and manufacturing costs; propose solutions to regional leadership (this step is done manually)
  4. Mitigate warehouse and production capacity constraints within the horizon by balancing production lines & escalating where needed
  5. Maintain master data pertinent to Master Production Planning (e.g., regional or site level supply constraints and production constraints)
  6. Prepare material for and lead SIOP monthly/weekly meetings for medium term planning horizons (3+9 Months/12 weeks)
  7. Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Sales, Customer Service, Planner, Warehouse, Logistics teams, and Plant Operations Management) to mitigate any supply related risks – SIOE
  8. Collaborate with planner roles when issues arise that affect the SIOP horizon
  9. Track metrics and identify gaps; propose recommendation to improve planning process
  10. Monitor Produce to Plan
  11. Inventory Management – Total Inventory & Slow Moving / Aged Inventory

Qualifications

  1. 5+ years of experience in production/material planning management (Experience in multinational manufacturing is preferred)
  2. Bachelor's degree or above
  3. Strong logical thinking, data analysis, risk prediction and problem-solving abilities
  4. Proficient in MPS and MRP calculation, familiar with capacity analysis, scheduling management, material availability control and inventory management
  5. Ability to work with people with different educational and cultural backgrounds and deal with ambiguity
  6. Excellent cross-departmental communication, coordination and execution skills, able to work under pressure, responsible and result-oriented
  7. Skilled in using ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and proficient in Excel for data processing and analysis
