Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our main building works contractor, responsible for pre-contract tendering and post-contract commercial management across building projects.

A. Key Responsibilities

1. Lead tendering, estimating, and pricing for main building works
2. Prepare and review build-up rates (labour, materials, plant, preliminaries, OHP)
3. Cost planning, BQ preparation, and tender analysis
4. Subcontractor procurement, comparison, negotiation, and award
5. Manage post-contract QS functions including progress claims, valuations, variations, VO, and final accounts
6. Cost control, budget management, and cash flow forecasting
7. Commercial reporting and contract administration
8. Liaise with clients, consultants, project managers, and site teams

B. Requirements

1. Degree in Quantity Surveying
2. 710+ years experience with a main contractor or building subcontractor
3. Strong experience in building construction projects
4. Proven expertise in build-up rate analysis and cost estimation
5. Experience handling pre-contract and post-contract works end-to-end
6. Familiar with standard construction contracts
7. Proficient in QS, estimating, and reporting software
8. Must have strong command of English
