Job Description

  • Assist Contract Manager/ Project Manager to prepare BOQ and tender document/ proposal/ preliminary cost estimation, pre & post contract administration.
  • Assist to source for subcontractors/ suppliers. Produce and send enquiries to subcontractors inviting them to tender and engagement with procurement.
  • Providing input in tender evaluation and negotiation strategy with contractor or suppliers.
  • Attend tenders clarification/interview, analysis, and negotiation.
  • Monitoring and controlling project costs to ensure it is within the approved budget. Managing change orders request to control cost overrun.
  • Carry out work measurement and evaluation at site to validate contractor's monthly progress claim.
  • Monitoring and keep up to date contractor/supplier progress claims.
  • Track payment status to ensure the payment is made by Finance Dept within the contractual payment period.
  • Evaluate contractor/supplier variation order and make recommendation to Dept head.
  • Verify payment certification and final accounts prepared by consultant for works managed by Consultant.
  • Managing and communicating with all project stakeholders (consultants, contractors, equipment suppliers, management, public etc.) to ensure all contract administration matters are attended promptly and kept up to date.
  • Responsible to track changes to the design and/or construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly.
  • Attending site meeting where required.
  • Maintaining complete records & documents related project contractual matters.


  • Degree in quantity surveying from recognized university.
  • Minimum 8-10 years relevant working experience in quantities surveying job and preferably in contracting or QS consultancy working environment.
  • Good level of computer literacy (Autocad)
  • Possess good knowledge in pre and post contract administration.
  • Able to travel periodically to site for work progress evaluation and to attend site meeting.
