The Role:

At AMS, we focus on skills, potential, and the ability to grow. The Senior Recruiter partners closely with hiring managers to deliver high‑quality, end‑to‑end recruitment for critical roles, meeting agreed timelines, quality standards, and KPIs. This role supports high‑touch stakeholder groups, managing more complex hiring needs, multiple interview stages, and detailed offer discussions, while ensuring an excellent candidate and hiring manager experience.

Key Accountabilities:

What you'll do:

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior hiring managers, acting as a strategic recruitment partner.
  • Deliver end‑to‑end recruitment services in line with agreed SLAs, KPIs, and hiring targets.
  • Lead vacancy intake discussions, advising on role requirements, sourcing strategies, timelines, and market insights.
  • Partner closely with Sourcing and Administration teams to ensure strong candidate pipelines and a smooth hiring experience.
  • Manage complex hiring processes, including multiple interview rounds, offer strategy, and negotiations.
  • Ensure a high‑quality candidate and hiring manager experience, from initial engagement to start date.
  • Monitor recruitment data, funnels, and reporting to ensure accuracy, compliance, and visibility.
  • Maintain full compliance with client, legal, and AMS governance requirements while identifying risks and improvement opportunities.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment, including talent sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management.
  • Strong recruitment experience across Malaysia and the broader APAC region, with a solid understanding of local hiring markets and employment practices.
  • Experience recruiting within the medical devices, life sciences, manufacturing, or other highly specialized industries in a global environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, high-touch hiring projects while partnering effectively with senior stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to engage and influence multicultural leaders and hiring managers throughout the recruitment and decision-making process.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • Strong consultative and problem-solving skills, with the ability to advise and guide hiring decisions.
  • Willingness to work onsite three days per week
