Who We Are
GXBank is the FIRST digital bank in Malaysia approved by Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM). Backed by Grab, our mission is simple yet powerful: to leverage cutting-edge technology to serve the unserved and underserved—the everyday Malaysians and MSMEs who need it most.
We are a team driven by passion, innovation, and a shared purpose to redefine the financial landscape. If you're tired of legacy systems and want to build something that truly matters, you belong here.
What You'll Be Doing
- Own Regulatory Compliance: Lead the preparation and submission of regulatory reports (specifically for PIDM and BNM), ensuring all filings are accurate, timely, and compliant with current standards.
- Lead the Reconciliation Team: Serve as the subject matter expert and team lead. Manage day-to-day reconciliation operations, oversee GL account monitoring, and drive excellence within the team.
- Drive Process Innovation: Use the data analytics to uncover insights, identify operational bottlenecks, and implement process improvements using Lean/Agile/Design Thinking.
- Scale Operational Efficiency: Continually enhance our workflows to ensure we can scale as the bank grows. While not a requirement, candidates who can leverage technical tools (such as Python or JavaScript) to automate manual tasks and build prototypes are highly valued.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Data Engineering, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure data integrity and seamless reporting workflows.
