Experience and knowledge:
• Strong experience in building microservices and api's using node.js
• Experience working with RESTful APIs
• Strong experience and knowledge of TypeScript
• Experience working with ExpressJs and NestJS frameworks
• Experience in designing and building databases that support microservices with technologies such as SQL Servers, Mongo DB as well as implementing caching with tools such as Redis.
• Experience in working with cloud technologies, Azure is preferred
• Exposure to security technologies such as SAML, OAuth, OpenId Connect, key vaults
• Working with gitflow processes for code management and code reviews
• Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes Skills and attributes:
• You love working in a fast paced team; You live by the mantra fail early, fail fast!
• Deep understanding of common design patterns for microservices development.
• Experience working in cross-functional agile teams with a scrum ceremonies and devops culture. • Experience with ALM tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure Devops.
• Strong systems, problem solving and analytical skills; exceptional verbal & written communication skills.
• Excellent self-learner with high aptitude to acquire and master new technology & skills.
• Ability to evaluate and challenge functional and technical requirements and design.
• 5+ years experience for a senior software engineer role that will include technical.
• leadership, contribution to centre of excellence, mentoring, code reviews.
