Senior Solution Developer

Role Summary

This is a US shift role, supporting stakeholders and delivery teams based in the United States.

The Senior Solution Developer designs, develops, and supports enterprise applications by

translating business requirements into scalable solutions. This role focuses on application

development, production support, troubleshooting, maintenance, and continuous improvements to ensure system reliability and performance.

The ideal candidate should have strong Java application experience, Unix/Linux knowledge, KSH

scripting skills, and the ability to support applications in a 24/7 on-call environment. This role

requires handling production issues, deployments, and working independently with minimal

supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide application support and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.

• Develop, enhance, and maintain Java-based applications.

• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.

• Support application deployments and release activities.

• Develop and maintain Unix/Linux shell scripts.

• Perform SQL analysis, data validation, and application troubleshooting.

• Monitor application health and resolve operational issues.

• Collaborate with teams to deliver solutions and improve system stability.

• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and documentation.

Requirements

• Experience with Java-based enterprise applications.

• Strong Java development and troubleshooting skills.

• Willingness to participate in 24/7 on-call support and deployments.

• Experience with SQL, Unix/Linux, and KSH/Bash scripting.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, Git, and deployment processes.

• Experience in supporting enterprise applications and production environments.

• Experience with application monitoring and troubleshooting tools.

• Experience with batch processing and scheduling tools.

• Experience with enterprise-scale applications and integrations.

• Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience), with strong analytical skills,

attention to detail, clear communication, and ability to work independently and adapt quickly.
