About the Role
Beyondsoft is building its marketing capability for Southeast Asia. Based in Kuala Lumpur and reporting to the Director, Government Relations & Marketing in Singapore, this role runs how Beyondsoft shows up online across the region — the channels, the spend, the content, and the return.
It is a hands-on Senior Specialist/ Manager role weighted towards digital execution and performance. You will run the accounts, place the spend, produce the content, and report on what it delivered.
Key Responsibilities
- Content planning and production. Build and maintain content calendars across web, social, and other channels. Write and edit day-to-day copy — social posts, event promotion, corporate announcements — and keep language and tone consistent with the corporate narrative set by the Director.
- Channel management. Manage the company's online media accounts, including the corporate website and social platforms. Own publishing, brand consistency, and oversight of any external agency or vendor.
- Media buying. Plan and execute paid media across Google Ads, boosted content, and online and offline placements. Manage and account for marketing spend against budget.
- ROI tracking and reporting. Define the measures that matter, track performance against them, and report to management on return. Recommend where to scale, reallocate, or stop.
- Events support. Support offline events in Malaysia and across the region — pre-event campaigns, on-site content capture, and post-event follow-through.
- Other duties as assigned by the reporting manager.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
- 6–10 years in digital marketing, with at least two years running channels and a budget independently. Content and communications experience alongside this is expected.
- Hands-on media buying experience — Google Ads, paid social, and placement negotiation — with accountability for spend and results.
- Strong analytics capability. Fluent in GA4 and platform reporting, and able to build an ROI case management will act on.
- Clear, accurate written English suitable for corporate communications.
- CMS and marketing tooling literacy (WordPress or equivalent, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Canva or Adobe).
- B2B technology, IT services, or enterprise sector experience. Familiarity with AI and cloud subject matter is an advantage.
- Self-directed. This is the sole marketing role in Malaysia, reporting to a manager based overseas, and involves regional travel for events.
- A plus: government or statutory board audiences, wider SEA exposure, or design and video editing.
