An oversea multidisciplinary engineering consultancy and construction company is seeking a
Senior Structural Engineer to be based at its operation in KL. This role is responsible to design and lead compliant, buildable structural solutions from concept to construction using engineering software, while coordinating with project teams, resolving site issues, and mentoring junior engineers.
Job Responsibilities
- Design and analyse building structures using engineering software (e.g. ETABS, RAM Concept).
- Develop safe, practical, and cost-effective structural solutions in line with Australian Standards.
- Lead structural design from early concept through to construction documentation.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and drafting/BIM teams.
- Review designs, respond to site queries, and mentor junior engineers.
Job Requirements
- Around 8 years experience as a structural engineer in Australia.
- Strong skills in reinforced concrete, post-tensioned slabs, and structural steel design.
- Advanced proficiency in ETABS and RAM Concept (other tools are a bonus).
- Strong communication, leadership, and ability to manage multiple projects.
