Job Description

Altryon, Inc. is the data center development company of Cebron Financial Group, Inc. Altryon develops full-stack AI data center campuses integrated with dedicated behind-the-meter power generation. Our thesis is direct: the long-term economic value of AI deployment accrues to infrastructure owners. We develop, own, and operate campuses in markets where reliable firm power is scarce and AI-driven compute demand is accelerating, with development activity across Africa, India, Southeast Asia, Latin America, and North America.

Southeast Asia is a priority development region. Our target markets include Indonesia, the Philippines, and Malaysia, where concentrated compute demand is outpacing grid readiness and reliable firm power commands a structural premium. Campuses are sized from 5 MW to 200 MW and delivered on a phased development basis.

The Role

We are seeking a Senior Vice President, Data Center Development – Southeast Asia, based in Kuala Lumpur, to lead the origination and execution of our Southeast Asian development pipeline. This is a senior, hands-on development mandate. You will own the full pre-construction lifecycle: from country and market screening through site control, power path validation, and interconnection feasibility, delivering fully de-risked, construction-ready projects.

What You Will Do

– Lead country-level market screening across Indonesia, the Philippines, and Malaysia, integrating demand signals, power sector conditions, regulatory posture, and political risk into disciplined go/no-go recommendations

– Source and evaluate campus sites, directing land brokers and local counsel to identify parcels with credible proximity to power interconnection, fiber routes, and end-market demand

– Assess power availability at each candidate site, including grid capacity, utility reliability, tariff structures, and the feasibility of dedicated behind-the-meter and captive generation (gas, solar plus storage, hybrid configurations) under each market's licensing regime

– Lead interconnection feasibility analysis, engaging national utilities and transmission operators (PLN, NGCP and Meralco, TNB) and regulators to validate interconnection pathways, timelines, and cost

– Secure site control through options and conditional agreements while running parallel diligence on title, permitting, environmental clearance, and fiber connectivity

– Build and manage relationships with utilities, energy ministries, regulators, and permitting and investment authorities, working alongside Singapore-headquartered energy and projects counsel and Altryon's Strategic Advisory Council

– Coordinate with EPC partners and generation OEMs on constructability, delivery timelines, and cost benchmarks during pre-development

– Prepare projects for offtake engagement, ensuring every site presented to telcos, banks, governments, and enterprise customers carries a validated power path and delivery timeline

– Represent Altryon with development finance institutions and co-investment partners on project-level diligence

What You Bring

– 12+ years in power, energy, or digital infrastructure development in Southeast Asia, with direct experience taking projects from origination through site control and interconnection

– Demonstrated expertise in grid interconnection processes, utility engagement, and power procurement in at least two Southeast Asian markets

– Deep familiarity with Southeast Asian power sector structures, including IPP frameworks, PPA negotiation, wheeling and retail competition arrangements, and captive generation licensing regimes

– A track record of sourcing and controlling land for infrastructure projects, including title diligence and permitting in complex jurisdictions

– Established relationships with utilities, regulators, energy ministries, or development finance institutions (ADB, IFC, DFC ecosystem preferred)

– Rigorous compliance posture, with direct experience operating under FCPA and UK Bribery Act standards

– Fluency in English required; Bahasa Indonesia, Malay, or Tagalog an advantage

– Based in or willing to relocate to Kuala Lumpur, with regular travel across the region

Why This Role

You will be the founding development leader for Altryon's second regional platform. Across Southeast Asia, planned data center capacity is running at multiples of installed levels while power availability, grid readiness, and permitting remain the binding constraints. That gap between compute demand and deliverable firm power is the opportunity, and it is exactly what Altryon's power-first model is built to close. You will shape where Altryon builds, how projects are structured, and how the Southeast Asian platform scales.

Compensation

This is a principal-level package, not a salaried staff role. Compensation is built around direct participation in the value you create:

– Profit-sharing bonus pool with carried-interest-style participation in project-level economics on every project you originate and deliver, from site control through stabilization

– Milestone bonuses at defined development gates, including site control, interconnection agreement, offtake execution, and financial close

– Equity participation in Altryon, Inc., aligning you with the value of the platform itself, not only individual projects

– Base compensation commencing with the first development project, with the profit-sharing and equity components structured to significantly outperform a conventional salaried package as the platform scales

The structure is designed for a builder: an executive who would rather own a meaningful share of the outcomes they deliver than collect a fee for attendance.
