Software Development Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a Software Engineering Manager with a minimum of 10 years industrial experience in the RTL/Verification/Simulation domain. The candidate is expected to have a strong technical background to manage and drive a team of 5-7 engineers to develop customer tools for Altera Quartus Software Suite - specifically, in the area of Simulation and design entry via Soft IP. The daily job scope include managing and evaluating the team members, providing guidance on the design and implementation of new tools, and driving maintenance support for legacy code. The team is part of a vibrant global Quartus team (PG/US/Canada) to develop customer Compile and Simulation tools in Quartus Software. In Q4 2023, Intel announced PSG will be reported as a separate business unit beginning on January 1, 2024 with ongoing support from Intel. This position is associated to that standalone business strategy and is expected to fully transition to a standalone company at some time in the future.

Qualifications

• Degree/Master/PhD in software/computer/Electronics engineering.

• Minimum 10 years of industrial working experience in RTL/Verification/Simulation domain.

• Knowledge of FPGA/EDA software tools.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Strong stakeholders management.
