Software Engineer
- Solution design, implementation, integration, platform architecture, and capacity planning in mission-critical environments
- Strong customer advocacy, relationship building, and communication skills.
- Development of demos and proof-of-concepts
- Data modelling, query development and optimization
- Researching best practices or components required to provide consultancy services.
- Honing your skills, building applications, or trying out new product features
- Overseas travel may be required for onsite implementation (duration - depends on project/customer/onsite requirement). Travel subject to strict governance by Malaysia authority and oversea countries authorities.
- Minimum 2-5 years working experience as a software engineer, system administrator, or DevOps engineer.
- Diploma or bachelor-level degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related engineering discipline
- Strong knowledge of application/system integrations
- Understanding and passion for open-source technology and proficient in at least one programming language, e.g., Java, Go
- Hands-on experience building and operating distributed systems, Big Data, stream processing, and/or enterprise data integration solutions.
- Experience operating Linux (configure, tune, and troubleshoot both Red Hat and Debian-based distributions)
- Good understanding of databases, application security, information retrieval/analytics
- Good understanding in micro-services and container platform, e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc., and cloud technologies will be advantageous.
- Good communications skills and fluent in English with ability to explain issues and complex solutions clearly and concisely.
- Comfortable working remotely and/or at client's premise
