Software Engineer
Job Summary:
As a Software Engineer, you are responsible to comply with the general architecture framework defined by the organization and develop, and testing your work as per the business requirements. The development skills required are full-stack capabilities with experience in mobile development as an added advantage. The capability to write code in various frameworks, major in Angular@latest (Java Scripts) and general knowledge perception with Cloud Technologies are essential.
Ultimately, the role of the Senior Software Engineer is able to think and resolve technical and programming problem as well as to suggest solution for any given functional module, innovative and fully performing software that complies with coding standards and technical design. As a senior, you will have added responsibility in leading and coaching a small development team.
Job Responsibilities:
- To develop, enhance and maintain program in accordance with the design and its requirements.
- To write well designed, testable, and efficient code,
- To perform all the necessary tests (Unit, Integration, etc.) as required.
- To deliver work on time with highest readable quality possible.
- To document all work in accordance with standards.
- To contribute significantly to the development design of software and Internet applications.
- To conduct Research & Development efforts on emerging Internet Technologies.
- To support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
- To work closely with other teams and users to gather systems requirements.
- To ensure that the organization standards and processes are followed and adhered to.
- Ensuring adherence and compliant of defined patterns and guidelines.
- Practice Agile development methodology.
Qualifications:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology or related disciplines.
- 5 years or more in depth knowledge of open source development and hands on experience in web based applications.
- Proficient in the following: Angular@latest, NodeJS, JSON REST Web Services, and Web API.
- Worked with RMDBS Databases like Microsoft Sequel Server, MySQL
- No SQL Databases (Mongo DB/Firebase/ Firestore) knowledge is added advantage.
- Hands on experience in HTML/5, CSS, AJAX, Type Script, Ionic Framework, PHP will be an added advantage.
- Experienced in source codes management tools like such as Git, TFS, etc.
- Possess good understanding of Internet technology, standards, clean architecture.
- Possess excellent problem solving, strong analytical skills, and attention to details.
- Good command of English is essential.
- Able to work with minimum supervision, as well as able to contribute to team development.
- Undertake special and ad-hoc assignments and any other related duties and responsibilities as and when required.
- Professional certification will be an added advantage.
