Software Test Engineer
Job Description
As part of software development team, you are responsible for maintaining software quality associated with the product development and releases. You will assess software quality through manual/automated testing and finding and reporting bugs. In this role, you should have a keen eye for detail and good problem-solving skills.
- Perform work related to the Company's various web/app applications and technologies.
- To perform testing activities (Function, Regression, Integration, Load Testing).
- Fully understand system flows, draft and revise test plans and scripts, execute test scripts, log defects, analyse and communicate test results to project team.
- Documentation of all testing activities, ensure the complete control and traceability of test results
- Follow up on defects and software quality issues
- Perform other relevant duties that may be assigned from time to time.
- Ensure process and quality standard, procedures and control plan are maintained.
- Work closely with the lead & other software developers to define day-to-day task.
- Preferably 1 to 3 years of working experience in testing and quality assurance.
- Preferably with one of the Test Automation experience in Selenium, Appium, Gatling or JUnit Test for CI/CD.
- Ability to work together with other developers in a team environment.
- Able to work in team.
- Able to meet tight deadlines.
- Able to work independently with minimal guidance and willingness to learn.
- Good people skills, self-motivated, articulate and systematic.
