Software Test Engineer - Automation

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts.
• Perform API automation testing using Robot Framework or Karate.
• Execute functional, regression, and integration test suites.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with developers to resolve issues.
• Participate in requirement reviews and test planning.
• Maintain and improve automation frameworks and test coverage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in Automation Testing.
• Hands-on experience with Robot Framework or Karate for API automation.
• Strong understanding of API testing (REST APIs).
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
• Knowledge of SQL and basic database validation.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
