Role Description The Sourcing Assistant role at Molex is a contract, on-site position based in Georgetown. This role supports the procurement team by assisting with supplier sourcing, collecting and analyzing quotations, and maintaining accurate purchasing records. Day-to-day activities include conducting market research on suppliers and materials, tracking orders and delivery timelines, and coordinating with internal stakeholders to align sourcing activities with project and production requirements. The Sourcing Assistant also helps prepare reports, update databases, and communicate with suppliers to resolve issues related to pricing, availability, and quality. This position requires close collaboration with procurement and other functional teams to ensure efficient and cost-effective sourcing processes.

- Candidates should possess foundational Procurement knowledge, including familiarity with purchasing processes, supplier management, and basic contract terms.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement or ERP systems, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- A diploma or degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field, along with prior experience in purchasing or sourcing support, is an advantage.
