Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform daily bank reconciliations for IME, RIA Australia, RIA New Zealand, RIA India, DPI, and RIA Singapore.
  • Prepare and post journal entries related to bank transactions, including bank charges, commissions, and rebates, into the accounting system.
  • Analyze, investigate, and resolve unreconciled items (e.g., unposted transactions and in-transit items) and address any discrepancies within the established turnaround time.
  • Liaise with the Treasury, Finance Operations, Support teams, and external banking partners to investigate and resolve reconciliation issues and outstanding items.
  • Prepare month-end bank reconciliations for all assigned bank accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
  • Prepare and distribute the daily bank balance summary to the Treasury Department.
  • Prepare and upload monthly e-invoices in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Upload month-end bank reconciliation files, reports, and supporting documentation to the Evolution system accurately and within the prescribed timeline.
  • Support the Team Lead in monitoring reconciliation progress, ensuring the timely completion of daily and month-end activities, and providing guidance and support to junior team members.
  • Review and approve journal entries prepared by team members, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established accounting policies and procedures.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting/related fields or 5+ years accounting experience is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel. Strong knowledge of standard formulas and functions such as VLOOKUP, SUMIF/SUMIFS, filtering & sorting, etc.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
