- Manage the entire product portfolio throughout its lifecycle, ensuring performance, quality, and cost objectives are met.
- Serve as the central point of contact for all product-related matters, providing clear communication and coordination across teams.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on yield and test processes to optimize costs and enhance product efficiency.
- Conduct statistical analysis of characterization and test data to identify cost drivers and implement yield improvement programs.
- Collaborate closely with project teams during the development phase (e.g. design and test reviews) to ensure a seamless transition from development to mass production.
- Support the quality assurance team with RMA handling and failure analysis.
- Act as the technical interface for internal stakeholders and external customers, delivering expert guidance and support.
- Ensure that any fabrication process modifications comply with product performance and reliability requirements.
- Monitor production and feedback relevant issues to ensure DFM
Job Requirements
- Candidate must have at least a Bachelor's Degree in Physics, Opto-electronics, or a related technical field. Candidate with Master's Degree in the relevant field will have an added advantage.
- 2–3 years of experience in semiconductor product engineering, yield engineering, or testing (VCSEL or laser experience preferred).
- Solid understanding of semiconductor lasers, manufacturing processes, and applications (ideally in VCSEL technology).
- Strong analytical and fact-based decision-making skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in Six Sigma problem-solving and Lean Manufacturing.
- Experience in product qualifications, quality standards, and failure analysis.
- Knowledge of product routings, workflows, and development processes.
- Strong scripting/programming skills
- Project management experience and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, proactive attitude, and holistic problem-solving approach.
