The Supplier Quality Engineer ensures the project personnel are working according to Wellstream Processing Operating System, PEM (Project Execution Model) and Contract requirements. Ensure packages are delivered according to Client requirement and within agreed schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with Project Quality Plan, specifications, and procedures across engineering, procurement, and manufacturing activities
  • Develop, review, and manage Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) and quality requirements in Technical Requisitions
  • Coordinate quality activities including pre-inspection meetings, gate reviews, and supplier inspections
  • Oversee Quality Surveillance (QS) and ensure inspections are conducted by qualified personnel
  • Collaborate with expediting to ensure all materials and equipment meet quality requirements
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and third-party inspectors on quality matters
  • Monitor and resolve non-conformances, including root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions
  • Track and ensure timely closure of punch items and quality issues
  • Support audits, onsite inspections, and supplier evaluations when required
  • Review QA/QC documents, reports, certificates, and ensure proper final documentation (QA/QC dossier)
  • Provide regular quality reports and updates to project and management teams
  • Support project cost control, forecasting, and revenue recognition related to QA/QC activities
  • Assist in tender activities when required
  • Provide direction and coordination to site inspectors
  • Promote quality standards, continuous improvement, and HSE practices across the project

Qualifications

  • Technical education BSc/MSc – Mechanical Engineering preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years experience with QA/QC within oil and gas industry.
  • Experience in fabrication/construction of oil & gas module/skid, pressure vessels, piping, valves and pumps.
  • Proven experience in coordination of project QA/QC team.
  • Proven experience in NDT and welding (certification is preferred).
  • Knowledge of international codes and standards like ASME, EN, API, IEC, NACE, GOST and European CE marking. PERSONAL QUALITIES:
