We are looking for motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our Supply Chain team. Depending on your experience, you will be assigned to one of the following functions: Planner (Production/Material), Buyer, or Sourcing. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
Depending on the assigned role, your responsibilities may include:
Planner (Production / Material)
- Plan and monitor production and material requirements based on customer demand.
- Ensure materials are available on time to prevent production delays or line stoppages.
- Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, and other departments.
- Monitor inventory levels, material shortages, and excess stock.
- Follow up on material delivery and expedite urgent items when required.
- Update planning records and prepare relevant reports.
- Identify planning issues and implement improvement actions.
- Support other tasks assigned by the superior.
Buyer
- Process purchase requisitions and issue Purchase Orders (POs).
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of materials.
- Expedite material deliveries to meet production requirements.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to resolve delivery or supply issues.
Sourcing
- Source and evaluate suppliers for new and existing projects.
- Request and compare quotations from multiple suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, lead time, delivery schedules, and commercial terms.
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Continuously identify cost-saving opportunities and improve Purchase Price Variance (PPV).
- Work closely with Engineering, Finance, Sales, and Manufacturing teams to support business objectives.
General Responsibilities
- Ensure a consistent and adequate supply of materials for production.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve supply-related issues promptly.
- Identify process bottlenecks and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support supply chain optimization and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Candidates with 1–2 years of experience in Planning, Purchasing, Procurement, or Sourcing will have an added advantage.
- Good negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and follow up closely.
- A proactive attitude with willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
