System Integration Senior Manager
Responsibilities
- Lead a team consisting of security engineers to perform implementation tasks for cybersecurity solutions.
- Role covers end-to-end large-scale security services implementation and working together with other teams including design, architecture, planning and implementation.
- Provide direction in implementing new products or service offerings.
- Continuously review, revise and develop processes to improve and strengthen the success and quality of deliverables.
- Execute process improvements and develop policies, procedures, methods, and tools to optimize the overall use of team resources.
- Collaborate with pre-sales, internal teams, technology principal vendors and partners for discussions to assist in accurate solutioning and designing.
- Ensure the project scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget, timeline and work breakdown structure to estimate the effort required for each task.
- Determine if external resources are required in any project plan. If required, recruit and manage appropriate resources.
- Engage with technologies principal vendors and partners for technical escalation.
- Ensure smooth project implementation from initiation until closure.
- Work with project managers to produce the project charter, scope, goals, deliverables and timeline for running the projects.
- Ensure clear expectations are communicated to team members.
- Act as a mediator between team members if there is any issue throughout the project life cycle.
- Ensure changes to the scope of work are documented and approved with the project change request process.
- Ensure project deliverables are well documented prior to project closure.
- Ensure reported problem tickets are closed within the agreed SLA during the project phase.
- Provide root cause analysis reports and perform corrective measures during the project phase.
- Engage with principal vendors and partners for technical escalations.
- Ensure asset list and documentation are updated before handover to the support team.
- Extend assistance to support engineers on complicated issues troubleshooting.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience as team manager/lead or similar capacity.
- Strong Knowledge in Networking & Cybersecurity solutions.
- Analytical-thinking and problem-solving experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively to multiple stakeholders.
- Comfortable working within a fast-paced and fast-changing environment while driving teams to accomplish goals.
- Well-organized, self-motivated individual who can work independently.
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task and perform effectively under pressure.
- Certification in information security (ITIL, CISSP, etc) or comparable work experience will be an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field
