Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Takaful Consultant role based in Kemaman. The Takaful Consultant will meet with prospective and existing clients to understand their financial protection needs and explain suitable Takaful plans, including options for charitable legacy planning. Daily responsibilities include conducting client consultations, preparing personalized proposals, assisting clients through the application and onboarding process, and providing ongoing policy servicing and support. The role involves educating clients on Shariah-compliant financial concepts, maintaining accurate records of client interactions, and collaborating with the broader team to meet sales and service goals. The Consultant will also participate in outreach activities, community events, and training sessions to stay informed about product updates and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and client relationship-building skills.
- Ability to explain financial and Takaful concepts clearly to diverse clients.
- Detail-oriented approach to documentation, policy servicing, and follow-up.
- Motivation to achieve sales targets ethically and provide high-quality service.
- Basic understanding of Shariah principles related to Takaful or willingness to learn.
- Comfort working on-site in Kemaman and engaging in face-to-face consultations.
- Prior experience in financial services, insurance, or customer-facing roles is an advantage.
- Minimum educational qualification at diploma level or equivalent; higher education in finance, business, or related fields is beneficial.
