CargoTech is a consortium of 4 companies (Wiremind Cargo, Rotate, CargoAi and Aerios). Each CargoTech member contributes specialized expertise ranging from AI‑powered decision‑support systems to online booking platforms, digital capacity management, sustainability‑focused tools, and airline/charter workflow optimization. This unique blend of technology and domain knowledge enables CargoTech to accelerate digital adoption while ensuring tangible operational impact for airlines, handlers, forwarders, and shippers

CargoTech Kuala Lumpur will comprise a team of passionate technologist within an established ecosystem of a European Group with presence in >60+ countries, serving more than 150+ Airlines globally. The knowledge bank and industry depth offers the group capabilities to ideate game changing products in the market

Your Mission

CargoTech is planting its first Southeast Asian flag in Kuala Lumpur and this role exists to bring that hub to life. You'll be sourcing and winning the engineers, product thinkers, and commercial operators who will collaborate with the Headquarters of Wiremind Cargo, Rotate, CargoAI, and Aerios through their next phase of growth. The people hired from this desk will directly shape how fast CargoTech moves making this less of a support role and more of a growth role. You won't be filling seats. You'll be assembling the team that writes the next chapter of air freight

What You'll Do

As a Talent Acquisition, you will be the driving force in building the team and culture of our first Southeast Asian based office. This is a hands-on role for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and is passionate about connecting exceptional talent with purpose-driven work in the Air Cargo space

Full-Cycle Recruitment

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment roles across CargoTech to support our subsidiaries; Wiremind Cargo, Rotate, CargoAI, and Aerios, covering technical, analytics and customer service positions.
  • Partner with Leadership teams to understand role requirements, define candidate profiles and align on timelines and selection criteria
  • Source, screen, assess and shortlist candidates, coordinating interviews and providing structured feedback throughout the process
  • Manage offer negotiations and ensure a smooth handover to subsidiaries for onboarding

Pipeline & Sourcing Strategy

  • Build and maintain active talent pipelines for high-demand and business-critical roles at the KL office
  • Develop relationships with universities and professional associations in Malaysia
  • Identify passive candidates and build long-term relationships to support future hiring needs

Employer Branding & Candidate Experience

  • Champion a positive and consistent candidate experience from first contact through offer stage
  • Contribute to CargoTech's employer brand in Malaysia by supporting social media content, job postings and talent marketing initiatives
  • Represent CargoTech at career fairs, university events and industry meetups to build brand visibility
  • Gather candidate feedback and recommend improvements to processes and touchpoints

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for hiring managers, building trust through clear communication and reliable delivery
  • Advise business on interviewing best practices, structured assessment and candidate management
  • Collaborate with the subsidiaries to align recruitment with onboarding, workforce planning, and broader people strategies

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 4–7 years of hands-on talent acquisition experience, ideally within a tech, SaaS, logistics, or aviation-adjacent environment
  • Demonstrated experience recruiting across multiple business units or in a multi-stakeholder environment
  • Solid understanding of sourcing strategies, candidate assessment, and structured interviewing
  • Knowledge of Malaysian employment regulations and regional hiring practices in Southeast Asia
  • Strong communicator with the ability to build relationships at all levels and manage multiple open roles simultaneously
  • Proficiency with Recruiter or sourcing tools
  • Data-driven with the ability to track and present recruitment metrics meaningfully

Nice to have

  • Experience recruiting for air cargo, aviation, logistics or supply chain technology businesses.
  • Exposure to setting up or scaling a new office or recruitment function from scratch
  • Ability to work across time zones and with European-based stakeholders
