A large global organisation are looking for a Technical Pre-sales Consultant to join the team and provide a deep level of product and technology expertise on SUSE Cloud Native Solutions.
You will work closely with Business Leaders to engage with country and regional teams to find, architect, and insert SUSE solutions as part of an overall solution.
This will be an initial 6-12 months+ contract with the opportunity for multiple extensions.
The position can be worked on a hybrid remote basis, you will be required to attend the Singapore office once per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Your focus will primarily be on SUSE Rancher, Harvester and related solutions
- Achieve at a minimum SUSE Certified Deployment Specialist in Rancher Kubernetes Engine 2 & SUSE Certified Deployment Specialist in Rancher Manager.
- Understand SUSEs AI Solution and how it pertains to the companies Solutions.
- Participate in Pre-sales discussions with teams and be able to articulate the value propositions associated with SUSE cloud native solutions and/or technology.
- Participate in and run training and enablement sessions at a Pre-Sales level with sales and presales teams within assigned GEOs.
- Be a resource for the teams by working with them to find SUSE opportunities and walking the organisation and the customer through the SUSE purchasing process.
- Work closely with the SUSE European leaders to connect with the SUSE Sales Team on co-selling opportunities.
- Gain in-depth knowledge on SUSE Service offerings to be used as a complement to company Service offerings.
- Connect with and bring-in SUSE Resources on any needed complex and technical architecture, design, and sizing, by identifying site-specific parameters and constraints that impact the technical solution.
- Work with the World-wide Technical leaders for SUSE Solutions on any assistance needed for SUSE SLES related product on the portfolio.
- Track Pipeline opportunities & forecast on all deals which involved. Report monthly.
Further Points/Plus Points:
- Bachelors degree
- 35 years of experience in technology industry with focus on technical selling
- Prior knowledge of SUSE products preferred
- Understanding and experience in Kubernetes, developing overtime to become a market expert
- Demonstrate solid technical skills in assigned area of specialization
- Maintain knowledge of current trends, competitor products and strategies within area of responsibility.
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Speaks Fluent English
- Knowledge of effective consultative selling techniques, including active listening, framing, white boarding, storytelling etc.
