We are looking for a driven and strategic Sales Manager to grow our automation portfolio. This role is focused on driving revenue, expanding market presence, and building strong customer relationships through consultative selling and solution-based approaches.
You'll play a key role in identifying opportunities, closing deals, and positioning our automation solutions in a competitive market.
Sales Strategy & Business Growth
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities while growing existing accounts
- Develop annual sales plans aligned with company objectives and profitability goals
Customer Engagement & Solutions Selling
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers across all phases of the sales cycle
- Understand customer needs, challenges, and provide tailored automation solutions
- Conduct sales presentations, propose solutions, and negotiate contracts
Market Intelligence & Business Development
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, product developments, and regulations
- Conduct market research and analyze customer and sales data to identify opportunities
- Build and leverage networks to generate leads and expand customer base
Commercial & Operational Excellence
- Prepare, review, and manage quotations, tenders, and commercial proposals in line with company policies
- Ensure timely completion of Project Specification Sheets (PSS), Commercial Specification Sheets (CSS), and related documentation for project handover
- Maintain accurate records of prospects and customers in CRM systems
Financial & Administrative Responsibilities
- Manage budget allocation for the assigned portfolio
- Monitor accounts receivable and coordinate with Finance for timely invoicing and collections
Marketing & Brand Support
- Participate in seminars, exhibitions, and trade shows to promote products and enhance brand visibility
Continuous Improvement & Compliance
- Identify areas for improvement in sales processes and implement action plans
- Ensure compliance with all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) requirements and participate in EHS initiatives
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in equipment/technical sales or related industry
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing key accounts
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in negotiation and contract management
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in automation or industrial solutions will be an added advantage
