JOB SUMMARY
To assist in providing support to ensure effective and efficient operations and project delivery for the Operational Technology Services Section. Ensure SCADA/Telemetry installed by Contractors at site meet the requirements and specifications of Air Selangor. To perform site investigation based on reports from Intelligent Command Centre (ICC) or superior during Defect Liability Period (DLP).
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Report to Head Development Unit on daily basis or as when required.
- To assist the Engineers in the daily operations of the Department.
- To assist the Engineers in supervision for site progress work.
- To assist the Engineers on site visits and inspections for progress CAPEX Works.
- To assist the Engineers for Specifications, Bill of Quantities (BQ) and drawings for quotations and tendering.
- To assist the Engineers for Tender / Quotation Evaluation Report for CAPEX Works.
- To assist the Engineer son update for CAPEX Works status and progress.
- Prepare agendas and Minutes of Meetings for site progress meeting.
- Liaise with other departments and regions where applicable.
- To comply with all company policies, procedures and standards.
- Carry out and assist in factory acceptance test (FAT) and site acceptance test (SAT) for installation of SCADA system for Development Unit.
- Inspect installation of new SCADA units for the remaining Air Selangor RTU sites and integrating the units into SCADA at ICC.
- Supervise contractor installation work at site according to work program for Capex works.
- Maintain records of repairs, calibration, and tests.
- Prepare relevant reports and documents including SAT and maintenance report.
- Prepare site diary upon daily site work completion.
Minimum Qualifications
- Diploma of Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Equivalent
- Minimum 1 year experience in Instrumentation and SCADA field, ideally in the field instruments water industry
Knowledge
- Knowledge of Word, Excel and Windows.
- Site supervision experience.
- Knowledge of electronic sensor systems for SCADA ie level, pressure, flow, temperature and water quality.
- Basic principle of the SCADA and Telemetry.
- Basic principle in electrical and mechanical system, water treatment process, valve, pumps and water supply.
- Knowledge in troubleshooting.
