Test Engineer

Job Responsibilities

1. Participate in the full-cycle testing of banking core systems (deposit, loan, account management, payment & clearing, fund settlement, etc.), including requirement analysis, test case design, test execution, defect submission & tracking, and test report output, ensuring test coverage meets financial-grade quality and compliance requirements.

2. Design highly available and comprehensive test cases based on product requirement documents and technical design documents, combined with banking core business scenarios; sort out test points and formulate detailed test plans to ensure the rationality and executability of test cases.

3. Execute various tests such as functional testing, interface testing and regression testing, record test results accurately, submit bugs in defect management tools in a timely manner, track bug repair progress, verify repair effects and ensure problem closure.

4. Participate in the implementation of automated testing, performance testing and security testing; assist in building automated test scripts, executing performance pressure test scenarios, collecting and analyzing test data, and outputting test sub-reports.

5. Maintain the test environment, assist in the deployment, configuration and verification of the test environment, troubleshoot simple technical problems related to the environment and data during the test process, and ensure the smooth progress of testing work.

6. Participate in project requirement reviews and test scheme reviews, put forward unreasonable points in product requirements or design, and give optimization suggestions from the testing perspective to reduce product R&D risks.

7. Collate various documents during the test process, including test cases, test logs, defect analysis, test reports, etc., to ensure the integrity and standardization of documents and meet the document traceability and compliance requirements of the financial industry.

8. Cooperate with the team to complete the test delivery of banking core system projects such as version iteration, cloud migration and localization transformation, follow up project progress, respond to the team's test work arrangements, and ensure the on-time launch of projects.

Key Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science and Technology, Software Engineering, Information Engineering, Automation or related majors;2+ years of software functional testing experience. Candidates withtesting experience in banking, securities, insurance or other financial industriesare preferred, and those with core system testing experience are a plus.

2. Master the basic theories, methods and processes of software testing; familiar with black-box testing, interface testing, regression testing and other test types; able to independently complete test case design, test execution and defect tracking with good test thinking.

3. Understand the basic business logic of banking core systems, be familiar with at least one core business module such as deposit, loan, payment and account, and understand the basic compliance requirements and quality control standards of the financial industry.

4. Proficient in using at least one interface testing tool (Postman/Jmeter/SoupUI, etc.), and skilled in operating defect tracking tools (Jira/Bugzilla, etc.) and test case management tools (TestLink/Zephyr/Xray, etc.).

5. Have basic computer professional knowledge, understand the basic operation of Linux/Windows operating systems, be familiar with basic query statements of relational databases such as MySQL/Oracle, and can process test data simply.

6. Have good document writing ability, able to independently output standardized test cases and test reports with clear logic and complete content in line with team document standards.

7. Familiar with at least one software R&D process (Waterfall Model/Agile Development); candidates with agile team testing experience are preferred and able to adapt to the iterative test work rhythm.

1. Have a strong sense of quality and responsibility, be meticulous and rigorous in work, take every detail in the test process seriously, and effectively identify potential product problems.

2. Have good problem analysis and positioning ability, able to quickly troubleshoot simple functional problems during the test process, and clearly describe problem phenomena and reproduction steps.

3. Have good communication and collaboration ability, able to communicate efficiently with R&D, product and testing colleagues, synchronize test progress, feed back problems and cooperate to complete team work.

4. Have active learning ability, be willing to take the initiative to understand banking core business knowledge and new testing technologies & tools, and adapt to changes in business and technology quickly.

5. Have certain pressure resistance, able to adapt to the test rhythm of financial industry projects, efficiently complete test tasks during the peak period of project launch and ensure test quality.

6. Have a good team spirit, obey the team's work arrangements, be willing to share test experience and skills, and cooperate with the team to achieve the overall test goals.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Hold software testing-related certifications (ISTQB Foundation/Advanced, CSTE, etc.) or basic compliance certifications in the financial industry.

2. Have a foundation in automated testing, master programming languages such as Python/Java, and able to independently write simple automated test scripts.

3. Have practical experience in performance testing and security testing, proficient in using performance testing tools such as JMeter/LoadRunner, and understand basic methods of performance bottleneck analysis.

4. Participated in the testing of banking core system cloud migration (AWS/Alibaba Cloud/Huawei Cloud) and localization transformation projects, and familiar with the testing key points of cloud environments and localized databases/middleware.

5. Understand DevOps concepts, have relevant work experience in continuous integration/continuous testing, and proficient in using tools such as Jenkins.
